I’ve been an equine veterinarian for over 30 years and a practice owner for more than a decade. For most of that time, I watched brilliant colleagues do everything right: work hard, care deeply, never cut corners. And still struggle to make their businesses work.

I was determined to figure out why.

I spent 15 years and more than half a million dollars studying how high-performing businesses actually work. The most common question is: why two years? Can’t we just do a weekend course?

You can. But it won’t work. Here’s why.
